We've worked night and day to help meet your overwhelming response for this film...Harry Potter was by far the most requested film in your early access votes — nothing else even came close. We just had to act. And because after 2nd October 2025, the entire Harry Potter saga will be on studio hold until the end of 2026. That makes this your only chance to see Philosopher’s Stone on the big screen in Inverurie.

  • We want to be completely open about why tickets are priced this way.

    More than half of every ticket you buy goes straight to the film studios. For a capacity of 400, that’s the cost of securing and legally licensing films and the reason smaller cinemas across the country face the same challenge — without it, we wouldn’t be able to bring the stories you love back to the big screen in Inverurie.

    On top of this, there are the costs of creating the experience from scratch:

    • A professional screen, sound and lighting set-up that gives you/the movie a magical experience.

    • Transforming Garioch Indoor Bowling Centre into a 400+ seat arena.

    • Staffing, licensing and logistics to make everything run smoothly.

    We don’t have the backing of a national chain. We’re not a charity project with grant funding. This is testing, learning and trialling what works reacting to the demand of wanting the movie experience back in the town.

  • By keeping tickets at £10 (plus £1 booking), we cover the unavoidable costs — and then we’ve designed the food & drink to be as affordable as possible so it remains accessible, not only saving you in travel but significantly lower than chains:

    🍿 Popcorn – £3.00
    🌭 Hot Dogs – £3.50
    🥨 Nachos with hot cheese – £4.50
    🥤 Drinks from £1.30

    So while we’ll never be the cheapest ticket, the overall experience is designed to be better value — affordable food, local convenience, and a proper cinema experience right here in Inverurie.
